LEED Green Associate Exam Prep Classes

USGBC Alabama is offering LEED Green Associate Exam Prep classes in various locations across the state over the next several months. This first classes will be in Huntsville, November 6 and in Auburn on January 28. Please note that the class scheduled for October 20 in Auburn has been cancelled.

Learn about Green Building Fundamentals and prepare for the LEED Green Associate exam. Geared toward understanding the core concepts of LEED and preparing you for the LEED Green Associate exam and for part one of the new two part LEED AP exam, classes run from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

For the Huntsville class, RSVP to Andrea Paseur by 12 pm on Nov. 4.  For more information, see North Alabama branch page .

Information will be provided soon for the class in Auburn.

afternoon of golf at Huntsville’s premier public golf course on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.  Your participation will also include a box lunch and a chance at prizes.

Welcome to the USGBC Alabama Chapter!

The U.S. Green Building Council Alabama Chapter was formed to advance and promote sustainable and environmentally responsible planning, design, construction and operation of the state’s buildings, landscapes, cities and communities.

The purpose of the Alabama Chapter is to:

  • Provide regularly scheduled opportunities for members to exchange information with other persons having similar interests;
  • Raise awareness of Green Building principles and practices among the design, construction and real estate communities as well as the general public;
  • Provide forums for the exchange of ideas;
  • Form partnerships with other local building-related and environmental organizations; and
  • Promote membership in the U S Green Building Council.
