I am junior pursuing a Building Science Bachelors from Auburn. I am one of the founding members of AGB. I received an academic scholarship from BSCI for the 2009-2010 academic year. I also am the Vice President of the College of Architecture Design and Construction Student Council. I was a member of the 2010 LEED Competition team. I am speaking at Green Build 2010, representing Auburn as a Princeton Review Green College. I have experience in drafting as an architecture intern for a year. My interests are historic preservation, outdoors, sports, reading, and concrete furniture.

My name is Shawn Mancill. I am a junior in the Building Science program at Auburn University. Recently I led a competition team to Reno, NV to participate in the ASC Skanska sponsored LEED competition. I recently received an academic scholarship from the School of Building Science. In Construction I have worked as a Site Superintendent running a residential project. Also I currently work for Auburn University as a supplemental instructor for the Structures I classes. As a student I am very excited to attend Auburn University and gain the best education available, and as a professional I look forward to making construction more sustainable.

This year I was a member for Auburn in ASC Skanska LEED Student Competition 2010. I am also Vice President of Membership Services for AGC (Auburn Student Chapter). Involved with Student Working Group of AU's Climate Action Plan; Environmental Leaders; also participates with AU Historic Preservation Guild and Habitat for Humanity.
