Programs

The Programs Committee carries out the Chapter's Annual Plan with respect to educational programs and other events. This includes: monthly Branch meetings, LEED workshops, member recruitment and recognition, possible fund-raising events. The committee will work closely with membership and communications to carry out the Branch programs and events and the special Initiatives (see Special Committees, below). With respect to statewide functions and the LEED workshops, close coordination and advance planning with the other Branches through the Programs Committee Liaison is required. A yearly statewide planning session is also needed.

At the branch level, the committee should meet monthly and document actions in their minutes. A Committee of at least 4 individuals is recommended at the branch level. Committee members must be current chapter members. A total time commitment of between 3 and 10 hrs/person/month is anticipated. In addition, the Membership Committee Chair meets by telephone monthly with his/her counterparts in the other branches and the Board liaison. This is the statewide Membership Committee.
